I have always been passionate about running, but after suffering from a bad hip injury after the marathon I ran last March I have significantly cut back on my running. This year in order to challenge myself (since another marathon is out of the question) I have decided to sign up to complete the Toronto Tough Mudder! I am very excited about this and have been training hard. Replacing long distance running with weight training has been awesome!
Recently I have made a major lifestyle change. I found out a few months ago that I am allergic to gluten and since then I have been following the paleolithic diet. As much as the change in diet has been difficult (please note my above 2 vices), I have never felt better! I will be posting paleo recipes on my blog for you to try out!
Finding the balance between spending time with friends/family, boyfriend, working out/running, eating clean, indulging in life's little pleasures and coaching is what makes me a happy woman! :)

ReplyDeletehaha thanks, I promised myself when I started blogging I wouldn't try to pretend I am something I am not... I eat clean 80% of the time, and workout regularly so I am happy with that!
DeleteHey there!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog & I can relate to being a newbie to Paleo foods! I'm excited to see what exciting recipes you've got cooking up :)

DeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI am Princess. I am a nurse and health blogger based in the Philippines. I was just wondering if you are accepting guest post contributors at http://www.pushpumpprogress.com and want to contribute a topic about “Exercise Fitness Regimen” because a regular exercise routine boosts your energy level and your physical stamina, making everyday chores less taxing. An active lifestyle can improve productivity, lighten your mood and make it easier to focus and concentrate on daily tasks.
By the way, I read your article “Toronto Women's 8km Race Review & Recap!” and I must say that I commend you for doing such a good write up. I easily got interested the moment when I read about the title. I got curious and made me scan and read the whole article. I learned a lot from it. I’ll surely take note every detail of the article. I’ll share it to my friends and colleagues whom I know who will very interested with it. I’m sure they will like it because they are fond of spending several hours at the gym and joining fun runs to stay fit. Thanks for the information. Good job!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,
Princess Galsim
